Maybe we don’t invest time or energy into prayer because we lack faith that God is hearing us and will respond to our petitions. We need faith! In the hopes of serving you, we have compiled a list of some of the best resources on prayer. May God use these resources to awaken your faith.

Pastor Ron has written a short essay on the biblical vision for prayer: Learning to Pray.
Perhaps the best book on prayer is Leonard Ravenhill’s, “Why Revival Tarries”. It is not a book for the weak of heart. It will challenge you, convict you and inspire you to pray.
A great book that gives a vision and practical tips on praying continually, “Practicing the Presence”. Make sure to get the version that includes the writings of Brother Lawrence and Frank Laubach.
Two great older devotionals that have beautifully written prayers and devotions are, “Valley of Vision” and “Piercing Heavens”. Written in the high language of the Puritans, these two books will stir your hearts and give you amazing examples of how to pray.
One of the best recent books written on the power of prayer and the church is Jim Cymbala’s, “Fresh Wind Fresh Fire”. Written in accessible language, Cymbala shares the story of how his church grew in prayer.
